17 supersized, quilt-themed gardens and hand painted quilt-art murals are found in the one-of-a-kind Quilt Gardens along the Heritage Trail in Northern Indiana Amish Country. Master Gardener step-on guides lead groups on the 90-mile scenic Heritage Trail thru 6 communities while viewing 1 million blooms in vibrant color plus quilting bees, garden centers, themed shopping, hands-on programs and exhibits. Viewable each year May 30 - September 15.

Das Dutchman Essenhaus in Middlebury is home to Indiana’s largest restaurant famous for fried chicken, homemade noodles fresh from their factory and 31 kinds of pie. Yes, 31 kinds! This peaceful place in the country offers a full group package including multiple shops, miniature golf, indoor pool, deluxe country Inn, horse drawn carriage rides and family-friendly original theatrical productions in the intimate Heritage Hall.

Buses park free while shopping Shipshewana Flea Market; the Midwest’s largest and home to nearly 900 seasonal flea market booths open each Tuesday & Wednesday, May - September. Groups can also participate in weekly antique/livestock auctions, year-round events, and stay at our Amish-inspired hotel. All located within walking distance to popular downtown Shipshewana shopping and attractions, it is no wonder that groups love Shipshewana Trading Place, a must-see attraction in Northern Indiana.
