Getting Here
Getting here is easy
Located in the heart of America, Elkhart County’s central location makes it an easy to get to destination. You’ll find us halfway between Chicago and Toledo (just a two hour drive in either direction). Using a network of scenic limited access highways, you can arrive in less than a day’s journey from the region’s major cities and towns. We’re also close to major metropolitan areas, interstates, highways and airports. Most of the major attractions along the Heritage Trail are within an hour’s drive of I-80/90, over paved, well-marked, scenic US and Indiana routes.
TRAVEL TIP: Many attractions, shopping and dining establishments in Amish Country are Closed on Sundays. We suggest that you contact individual businesses to confirm days and hours of operation.

The Indiana Toll Road (I-80/90)skirts the Northern edge of the state with alternate access from State Roads 120 & 19 and US Highways 6 & 20.
