Light it up
Winter Wonderland Holiday Lights is an annual family favorite at Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart. From the day after Thanksgiving through Christmas, the natural beauty of this urban oasis is transformed by more than 2 million lights on its winding Promenade path. Shipshewana’s Lights of Joy allows you to enjoy Christmas lights from the warmth of your car over a 1.5-mile path of radiant holiday scenes.
In Goshen, head to the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds every weekend in December for Holiday Lights, a stunning drive-through lighted experience that the family will remember for years. If you're at the Fairgrounds on December 19-20, you can add the Mistletoe Market for artisan crafts, holiday treats and beverages, and kids' activities.
