From minty mojitos to lavender spritzes, you’ll taste the vibrant flavors of the season and learn about the unique properties and history of each herb.
Then, let your curiosity guide you on a leisurely, guided sensory tour through the stunning landscapes of Wellfield Botanic Gardens. Breathe in the fragrant blooms, listen to the gentle rustle of leaves, and discover fascinating stories hidden among the plants. Stroll past the charming English Cottage Garden, where timeless flowers and herbs mingle in perfect harmony, and explore the artfully designed Island Garden, a serene retreat filled with color, texture, and inspiration. Along the way, you’ll uncover how herbs have been used for centuries - for flavor, fragrance, and wellness - and how each plant contributes to the garden’s unique ecosystem.
As the experience unfolds, you’ll engage all your senses: touch the soft petals, smell the invigorating aromas, and even taste fresh herbs straight from the garden. Your guide will share expert tips for using herbs at home, from culinary applications to creating your own calming, fragrant spaces.
