Taste of Nappanee

It’s more than a tour - it’s an adventure through the heart, history, and hometown flavors of one of northern Indiana’s most charming communities.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll step back to 1874, when one bold railroad decision transformed marshy farmland into a thriving town of makers, dreamers, and doers. You’ll stand where grand hotels once hosted celebrations, where sizzling steaks inspired national slogans, where cartoonists doodled their way to fame, and where barns were rebuilt just days after a devastating tornado. Every stop reveals how one decision - big or small - can shape a legacy.

The best part: you won’t just hear the stories - you’ll taste them. Savor locally crafted meat sticks from John’s Butcher Shop. Sample Amish peanut butter (a beloved community staple). Discover fresh-roasted coffee, hometown sweets, orchard apple butter, and more - all rooted in generations of passion and grit. And be able to leave with a limited-edition Coppes charcuterie board – available only with this tour!
