The Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Jessica Risner for the role of destination sales manager.
Risner will be working closely with Elkhart County lodging properties and attractions as well as tour operators and meeting/event organizers to attract visitors to the area and enhance their experience while here. She will be representing the Elkhart County CVB at sales conferences and trade shows for the tour group industry as well as working with sports and meeting event organizers and rightsholders on their needs for events in Elkhart County.

She brings an enthusiasm for our destination as well as a diversity of experience in customer service and working in the tourism and hospitality industry,” said Jon Hunsberger, executive director of the Elkhart County CVB.
Risner previously served as Vice President of Business Development for Tri-State Maintenance in Mishawaka for three years and multiple roles at the Black Crow on Main in Elkhart for five years.
Through programs such as the Heritage Trail audio driving tour and annual Quilt Gardens experience as well as working collaboratively with Elkhart County tourism and hospitality businesses, the Elkhart County CVB helps generate more than $700 million in annual economic impact for Elkhart County through tourism and hospitality activities. This work supports Elkhart County entrepreneurs and small business owners in developing their businesses and creating impactful experiences for residents and visitors.
