overview
Built by Albert and Elizabeth Beardsley in 1908 and once the centerpiece of Elkhart society, Ruthmere has been lovingly restored to offer a window into the “Gilded Age.”
Tour rooms that are lavishly appointed with historic furnishings, and take note of world-class fine and decorative arts such as Tiffany lamps, Rodin sculptures and vintage autos. Ruthmere is only one part of the Ruthmere Campus, which also includes the home of Elkhart’s founder, Havilah Beardsley.
