This year, we are excited to offer ✨FREE✨ weekly bird hikes at the EEC!
Like our quarterly hikes, these will be casual hikes with an EEC staff member around the EEC to look for birds and any other cool wildlife we might come across. 😊
These will be on Thursdays starting at 8 AM and ending at 9 AM. We will meet at our Visitor's Cabin each week before we hit the trails. 👣
If you need to borrow binoculars, that's not a problem! Just let us know when you arrive, and we can lend you a pair.
Most of these hikes are easy, and we encourage participants to dress for the weather 🌧️ and wear hiking boots or good shoes to hike in. 🥾
There is no registration required for these hikes, and there is no requirement to come every week or stay the full time. Come when you can and leave whenever you need to! 👋
In event of severe weather, we will post on Facebook at 12 PM on Wednesdays if the hike will continue ✅ or be cancelled ❌ that week.
