Artist: Benji Wall

Information: Created in 2022; measures 6 feet by 5 feet; weighs 100 to 300 pounds; made from scrap metal

Description: Benji’s inspiration for this piece was from the Goshen College campus where there are squirrels everywhere. In addition, GC’s logo is a maple leaf, so he decided to make a giant squirrel raking leaves to tie it back to his college days. Benji selected this piece because it is not every day that you see a massive squirrel raking leaves. Also, because this will be his largest sculpture to date, he is very excited to see how it turns out and to hear what people say.

Not for sale.

About the artist: Benji has been a sculpture artist for less than a year. He loves being an artist because it gives him the opportunity to make his thoughts into real things.
