Overview
Discover amazing facts and cool adaptations that make woodpeckers unique among other birds. Using taxidermy mounts and an informative presentation, we will discover the amazing world of the different species of woodpeckers and how to identify them.
Participants will also make an animated, wooden, toy woodpecker to enjoy at home. You will laugh at this adorable spring-loaded bird as it pecks at a wooden post from top to bottom.
