The shows are free. Bands play on our roof, so bring camp chairs and watch from our parking lot. We sell beer, wine and soda from our curbside pickup window – ask the bartenders, and they’ll probably hand over the library book you’ve been wanting, too.
Count on spending your Friday nights in downtown Elkhart with great local music under the stars. (In case of rain, we’ll move the music indoors to the library atrium.)
We’re super excited about this lineup, and we can’t wait to tell you who’ll be playing Sept. 23 – you’ll have to keep watching for that special announcement. In the meantime, look at this lineup – all shows start at 7 p.m. this fall:
Sept. 9, 2022 – The Go Rounds
Sept. 16, 2022 – Lalo Cura
Sept. 23, 2022 – Super secret special performer you love
Sept. 30, 2022 – Abbie Thomas Band
Oct. 7, 2022 – Memphis Underground
That Guys Gourmet Ribs will be our featured food vendor for three of the shows – Sept. 9, Sept. 23 and Sept. 30. More food announcements will be made on our Facebook page.
Bands will play right above our downtown curbside pickup window that’s open six days a week (get all the details on our curbside service here).
People can bring chairs watch the shows from the library parking lot, which will be fenced and open to all ages (only the marked alcohol sale area is 21-and-over). Parking is available on the street or in nearby municipal lots. Musicians have been welcomed to bring merch to sell, and the library accepts cash and card.
In the event of bad weather, the library’s doors at High and Second streets will open at 6:30 p.m. The bar will be open inside.
