Join us for a Memorial Service at Lincoln Ave Bridge, where we honor the fallen and missing heroes of the US Navy and Coastguard.
James Snowden, USN (ret), a Chief Petty Officer with 26 years of dedicated service, will present the wreath in their memory.
Beginning at 0900, the service unfolds at Powerhouse Park, followed by the formation of a parade at 5th & Jefferson Streets. Led by Parade Marshal Joseph Farrell, USAF (ret), Desert Storm veteran, the procession commences at 1015 from Main & Jefferson, culminating in a poignant Memorial Service at Oakridge Cemetery at 1100.
George Buckmaster, Commander of the Goshen VFW, will guide us as Master of Ceremonies, while Chad (Michael) McKeown, Cpl, US Army, Iraq veteran, shares his insights as our Guest Speaker.
Let us come together on this Memorial Day, not just to remember the sacrifices made, but to honor the enduring spirit of those who serve and protect our freedoms today.
