HOSPITALITY RESOURCES IN RESPONDING TO COVID-19
The Elkhart County CVB is here to help you make sense of the continually evolving COVID-19 pandemic. We recommend that you continue to monitor the state of Indiana’s website for the latest health and safety information and adjust your plans and safety measures accordingly. Following health and safety protocols has been extremely effective at keeping employees, customers and visitors safe.
We also will keep you up-to-date on financial assistance programs available to help lessen the economic effects of the pandemic response.
State of Indiana programs
Small Business Restart Grant
This program provides up to $10,000 per month to small businesses for certain business expenses related to the pandemic. Businesses may receive up to a total of $50,000, for the period of March 2020 to May 2021. The deadline to apply is December 31, 2021. Hospitality and Entertainment Grant
This program provides up to $100,000 per month to hospitality and entertainment venues such as hotels, performing arts and theater venues, or a promoter of sports, music and theater programs. These organizations may receive up to $1 million for the period from March 2020 to December 2021. The deadline to apply is December 31, 2021. Federal programs
Restaurant Revitalization Fund
This program provides funding equivalent to restaurants and related business’ pandemic-related revenue loss. Eligible businesses include restaurants, bars, bakeries, food stands and food trucks, and more. The funding will not need to be re-paid if used for eligible expenses. For more details, click here.
Shuttered Venue Operators Grant
This program offers assistance to live performance venues, promoters, performing arts organizations, and museum operators to supplement lost revenue as the result of the pandemic. To begin the application process or get more details, click here.
