Quilt Gardens’ 2025 season kicking off with flower deliveries, planting
WHAT: Quilt Gardens 2025 plant delivery day and garden planting

WHEN: Thursday, May 15, from 9 to 10 a.m.
WHERE: Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, 17746 County Road 34, Goshen, Gate 2 parking lot
WHY: The 2025 season of Quilt Gardens and Quilt Murals along the Heritage Trail opens to the public on May 30. Thousands of flowers and plants will be picked up by Quilt Gardens site managers and their teams from across Elkhart County on plant delivery day. Garden sites will be planted over the next two weeks.
BACKGROUND: There are 16 Quilt Gardens sites and 12 Quilt Murals locations (list of 2025 locations). Now in its 17th year, the Quilt Gardens include a returning site at Wellfield Botanic Gardens and three new sites in Wakarusa (Grandma’s Pantry) and in Shipshewana (Farmstead Inn and Weaver Furniture Sales).
The Quilt Gardens and Quilt Murals are open free of charge to residents and visitors to enjoy from May 30 to September 15. This celebration of community spirit, quilting heritage, natural beauty and creativity has won awards from the Indiana Tourism Association and American Bus Association.
