Elkhart County’s food scene has become ever more flavorful and distinct in the past several years, and the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau is celebrating that in October with Well Crafted Signature Sips.

“The growth and development of craft breweries in Elkhart County has been exciting, and we’re so pleased that Goshen Brewing Company, Iechyd Da Brewing Company and Brass Elk Brewing were eager to collaborate with us on this new event,” said Jon Hunsberger, executive director of the Elkhart County CVB. “We’re inviting Elkhart County residents and visitors to sip and savor the tastes of not only these unique brews, but also the hand-crafted bites created by their talented kitchens.”

For the month of October only, the three breweries have crafted exclusive beers for Well Crafted Signature Sips:

  • Goshen Brewing Company’s Well Crafted Red IPA: A bold classic with a twist, this IPA combines bright pine and zesty citrus notes with a rich, malty backbone and a clean, dry finish. Fermented with care to highlight the unique character of Elkhart County, it’s a perfectly balanced sip that’s both familiar and unforgettable.
  • Iechyd Da Brewing Company’s Well Crafted Mulberry Sour: Bold, juicy, and a little unexpected. Fermented with Elkhart County mulberries, this tart dark-berry sour bursts with rich flavor and subtle raisin notes, delivering a crisp, refreshing sip that perfectly bridges sunny summer days and cozy fall nights.
  • Brass Elk Brewing’s Pumpkin Spice Latte Amber Ale: Cozy autumn in a glass. This malt-forward amber ale blends warm baking spices with hints of roasted coffee, caramel, vanilla, and earthy pumpkin. Smooth, balanced, and perfectly seasonal - it’s fall’s favorite flavors in every sip.

“Breweries are places where collaboration happens, especially when it comes to combining flavors. When this chance came to work with great breweries like Iechyd Da and Brass Elk, it was a no-brainer for us. We admire their beers and hope everyone makes time to try all of us out,” said Jesse Sensenig, founder of Goshen Brewing Company.

Since Iechyd Da Brewing Company launched in 2011 in downtown Elkhart, craft brewing has taken off with multiple breweries finding a home and loyal audiences in each community.

"We're proud to be part of a truly wonderful food and beverage scene in Elkhart County. Iechyd Da has been producing great beer and feeding our neighbors for more than a decade and we're honored that our community continues to support us. It’s only right for us to work with our fellow breweries to showcase the products made here in our county,” said Summer Lewis, co-owner of Iechyd Da Brewing.

Each of the participating breweries have a distinctive vibe influenced by their location. Brass Elk Brewing takes full advantage of its place on the banks of the Elkhart River to serve up a rotating tap list of traditional favorites blending with innovative flavors.

“Great beer and great food go hand in hand, and we’re excited to showcase our beers paired with the burgers and other bar favorites from our kitchen. The Well Crafted Pumpkin Spice Latte Amber Ale will be the perfect fall flavor that you’ll remember for years,” said Jamie Cross, general manager of Brass Elk Brewing.
